New Pan Africa PR Capability

London, 25 May 2009 BondPR, the specialist in multi-country campaigns, today announced that it can now offer PR support in 16 countries in Africa. It has also announced that is to run a campaign for ForgetMeNot Africa, a specialist in mobile phone services for the African market.

BondPR has teamed up with ZK PR, part of the Tanzania based ZK group. ZK PR headed by Jill Hamilton in Johannesburg and has PR staff in 11 countries (Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Niger, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda and Uganda) with established affiliates in a further five (Burkina Faso, Congo, Madagascar, Sierra Leone and Tchad).

ForgetMeNot Africa has launched Message Optimiser bringing email and instant messaging to basic mobile phones without need for PC or Internet making the service ideal for the African market. A controlling interest in FMN Africa is held by LonZim plc which has several investments in Africa. Initially the campaign will focus on English language media that reaches telecom operators many of whom are represented in London but is expected that the campaign will extend to media based in Africa in the near future.

BondPR is of course also able to support African companies looking to raise their market profile outside Africa. The relationship with ZK could mean they have a local partner but can reach media around the world.
