Cees Steijger

Cees Steijger is an international PR veteran with 28 years of experience in all aspects of communications. As a graduated journalist he started his PR career in 1977 in the press office of Philips Electronics. He has been in charge of the corporate communications of AT&T-Network Systems International, now Lucent Technologies, positioning the company as a leading network vendor in the European marketplace. Before the break-up of the AT&T organisation in 1995, Cees was regional director corporate media relations and a senior spokesperson of AT&T Corp. in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Cees has experience with global brands such as KPN, Unisource, Alcatel, Balast Nedam, Until 1999 he was director corporate media relations of Unisource (a joint venture of KPN, Telia and Swisscom), now managed bij BT Infonet Corp. Cees Steijger founded Steijger.communications BV in December 1999 and heads the Benelux BondPR office since 2005. Cees is fluent in Dutch (mother tongue), English and German.
